To qualify for one free online class you must provide thorough answers to the questions below.
Thank you for your interest in the VMG promotional online class experience. Please fill out the form below to register. Each class is 4 hours of
instruction divided into 2 evenings
for 2 hours each evening. Part 1 of each class is on a Thursday and
Part
2 is
on the following Tuesday. This unique Thursday-Tuesday schedule offers
students time in between
each class to take on a "VMG Challenge Assignment" related to the
material covered in Part 1 of the class. Students return for Part 2 of
the course and discuss how they tackled the challenge assignment and
what they learned. This
"challenge assignment" method provides opportunities for students to
become engaged in the content of the material they are learning as it
pertains
to the real world.

Human Resources for Nonprofits (5/20 & 5/25)- COURSE FULL PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER SELECTION
Acquire skills to recruit, interview, screen, and train paid staff and volunteers, and understand differences for each.
PR, Marketing & Social Media (5/27 & 6/1)
Explore tools and techniques to get the word out about your nonprofit mission and volunteer opportunities. Develop a strategy to raise awareness, recruit volunteers, market special events, raise funds and more.
Developing Corporate Partners (6/3 & 6/8)
Identify and comprehend the unique characteristics of corporate funders, the do's and don'ts in building corporate partnerships and what it takes to ultimately gaining their long-term support.
Program Evaluation Methods (6/10 & 6/15)
Conducting program evaluations is critical for demonstrating program impact to varous stakeholders. Learn how to plan an evaluation, design a questionnaire, select evaluation methods, and interpret data to produce a cohesive report.
