VMG Instructors

VMG secures the most knowledgeable and informative instructors within a subject matter area. VMG instructors are considered to be subject matter experts in their given discipline. They have excellent presentation and communication skills to deliver an engaging presentation that resonates with each student.

VMG instructors are evaluated by students after each lecture. Paper-based evaluations are administered in the classroom; web-based evaluations are administered for online courses.  Instructors are expected to meet a high standard of quality instruction to remain on board as a VMG instructor.

VMG instructors possess the following qualities:

Knowledgeable
VMG instructors come to the table as subject matter experts. They maintain a high level of industry knowledge in order to present students with information relevant to today’s world. This knowledge sharing is demonstrated through instructors providing resource materials, periodicals, newspapers, web sites, and other sources of useful and meaningful information to students during class.

Engaging
VMG instructors create an environment that makes learning fun and meaningful. Instructors utilize their unique communication and presentation skill sets to engage the students as a whole and also pay special attention to an individual’s learning styles. What does this mean? Some people are audio learners, some visual, some learn by doing. All techniques are applied to ensure that each student is absorbing the material.

Supportive
VMG instructors want to see students succeed and achieve their goals and dreams. With this in mind, instructors encourage students to be the best they can be. They share practical steps and actions, and give guidance on how students can go about putting a plan into action.
