VMG Training Programs in New York City

Volunteer Management Group (VMG) offers its Training Programs in Nonprofit Management, Volunteer Program Management, Corporate Philanthropy and Grant Writing in the classroom in New York City.

VMG training programs require a high level of professional commitment, and VMG encourages each participant to continually raise the bar and challenge themselves in their own commitment to learning. In our courses, each student is expected to acquire a knowledge base that he or she will continue to build upon and develop in its breadth and depth over time. Our expertise is in providing a learning environment that profoundly improves each student’s capabilities and helps them to form a body of knowledge to serve as a foundation in their career.

Each Training Program consists of 8 courses. In the spring and fall semesters, courses run on eight consecutive Saturdays, or on two evenings, and one course is covered each week. The programs are also offered as 2-Week Summer Intensives running the last week of July and the first week of August.

If you wish to move forward in your current position or are considering a career in nonprofit management, grant writing, corporate philanthropy or volunteer management (as a first career or a second career) one of the VMG Training Programs can help you. The programs are also excellent for undergraduate or graduate students trying to gain real-world knowledge and information in order to decide on a particular area of concentration for their studies.

Upon completion of a training program, you will have acquired specific knowledge in the core areas of that program and you will be better prepared to interview as well as succeed at a job in the discipline of your training.
